With the first touch-down on 21. September 2023, KSA has delivered another proof-point for its vision 2030 – The Red Sea International Airport. Part of the Red Sea Global Masterplan, it will act as the new gateway to the wonders of Saudi Arabia, forging new connections to the richness of Saudi’s culture, hospitality and nature.
RSI has been positioned as an extension of the 5* unique Red Sea hospitality offer; luxurious through a private jet experience for every passenger, sustainable through pioneering sector-leading solutions for a fully carbon-neutral airport, integrated by embedding RSI as part of the total hospitality product and seamless in its smart, fast and free of procedural pains at check in and arrival.
Working with the renowned architect firm Foster & Partners as well as brand engagement experts, Brash created a brand that supports the architectural design inspired by the desert, the oasis and the sea. The brandmark reflects the 5 pods, delivering an integrated experience of carefree and sustainable travel. Each touch point in the journey has been carefully considered to deliver the desired message through both people and place.
RSI is set to disrupt the sector and become the benchmark for carefree and enjoyable travel, leveraging our Red Sea’s giga ultra-luxury destination brand ‘Amaala’, launched in 2018. The project pays tribute to our continuous commitment to PIF and the Red Sea Global Masterplan.
Currently connecting resorts at the Red Sea with Riyadh and later Jeddah, it is set to expand to handle international flights from 2024, enabling to connect with 85% of the world’s population within an eight-hour flight.
